摘要
张爱玲与简·奥斯汀是东西方文坛杰出的女性作家,以各具特色的经典作品为女性文学的发展做出了重大贡献。本文通过平行研究法比较了两位作家的生活背景、作品中两位主要女性人物白流苏与伊丽莎白的形象特征以及透过作品表达出的婚恋观的异同。两位女性作家的婚恋观体现在拜金社会中女性面对婚恋的焦虑与抉择,以及对金钱与爱情的态度上。
Eileen Chang and Jane Austen are outstanding female writers in the Eastern and Western literary history.Their distinctive classics have made significant contributions to the development of female literature.This paper compares,through a parallel study,the life backgrounds of the two authors,the female protagonists in Pride and Prejudice and Love in a Fallen City,and the authors’views on marriage,which are reflected in women’s anxiety and choices in face of marriage and love in a patriarchal society,and their attitudes towards money and love.
