1全球生活用纸市场规模全球生活用纸行业市值约790亿美元(2018年),包括家用零售生活用纸(AT,At-home tissue)和公共场所用/商用生活用纸(AFH,Away-from-home tissue)。如图1和图2所示,全球生活用纸行业市值和销量都呈平稳增长态势,无论是家用零售还是商用生活用纸市场都比较乐观。生活用纸行业的增长与全球平均生活水平的提高和生活条件的改善息息相关,虽然发达国家市场已经基本饱和,增长潜力不大,但新兴市场的崛起不断为行业需求注入新的生机,电子商务、直面消费者的DTC模式等多元销售模式的出现也刺激了生活用纸行业的发展。
Over the past two decades,global tissue paper market has shown a steady growth momentum in both production and consumption.In 2019,global tissue paper consumption approached nearly 40 million tons and surpassed newsprint volume,which would have been almost unbelievable two decades before.But there still exist some problems.For example,how long will the growth momentum continue?What forces are driving the industry's continued growth?Are there some new characteristics about tissue market after COVID-19?With these questions in mind,we organizes this special issue on global tissue market("Global Perspectives"and"Regional Perspectives"),which will be published in CPPI successively.
