摘要
吴曾辉修、吴容纂的《威远县志三编》是威远县现存的第三部方志,故称“三编”。该志版本情况较为简单,仅有光绪三年刻本。该志得益于修志者的较科学的纂修思想,在资料来源、体例调整、内容增补三个方面有所突破。它的资料来源一方面是李南晖的《(乾隆)威远县志》、陈汝秋的《(嘉庆)威远县志》及其它的方志等文献,一方面则来源于采访和见闻;在资料利用方面坚持宁缺毋滥,态度严谨。在体例方面,该志参考了《(嘉庆)四川通志》,对门目作了实事求是的调整,并详细阐明调整的理由。《三编》增补了60余年的史料,丰富了内容,突显了方志的时代性特征。
The 3rd County Chorography of Weiyuan proofread and annotated by WU Zenghui and compiled by WU Rong was the third chorography of Weiyuan County.The edition of this chorography was simple and only had the copy made in the 3rd year of Emperor Guangxu.Due to the relatively scientific compilation thought,it had three breakthroughs in source of materials,adjustment of styles and supplement to the content.Its materials came,on one hand,from County Chorography of Weiyuan(in Qianlong period)compiled by LI Nanhui,County Annals of Weiyuan(in Jiaqing period)compiled by CHEN Ruqiu and other annals,on the other hand,from the interview and anecdotes.In employment of materials,it would rather leave deficiency uncovered than have it covered without discretion.As for the style,this chorography made reference to General Chorography of Sichuan(in Jiaqing period)and adjusted the genres and catalogues and elaborated reasons for such adjustment.It supplemented the historical materials for over 60 years,which enriched its content and highlighted the chorographical features of times.
