摘要
官方宣传机制在英国宗教改革中起着至关重要的作用。亨利八世的离婚案直接导致了英国同罗马教廷的决裂,并在1534年颁布了首次明确国王王权至尊的《至尊法案》。英国历史上首次以法律的形式明确了王权高于教权。《至尊法案》在英国社会引发了激烈的争论,王权高于教权的合法性成为争论的焦点。为此,亨利八世及其政府通过一系列的宣传手段,以服从君主和反对教权主义两个主题的宣传,引导舆情向有利于国王的方向发展。这一过程,代表了国王的宣传机制逐渐走向成熟,并对都铎后期的宣传机制影响深远。
The official publicity mechanism played a vital role in the British Reformation. The divorce case of Henry Ⅷ directly led to the breakup of Britain from the Roman Pope, and in 1535, the Supreme Act was first promulgated to clarify the supremacy of the king. For the first time in British history, the law made it clear that the power of the king is higher than the power of religion. The Supreme Act caused fierce debate in British society, and the legitimacy of royal power over religious power became the focus of the debate. In this respect, Henry Ⅷ and his government launched a series of publicity activities centering on the two topics of obedience to the monarch and anti-clericalism, and guided public opinions to the direction of benefiting the king. This process represents the gradual maturity of the king’s publicity mechanism and has a profound influence on the Tudor’s publicity mechanism in the later period.
