摘要
【目的】间伐和林下植被剔除是常见的森林可持续经营措施,但间伐和林下植被剔除对毛竹根系氮(N)、磷(P)养分含量的影响鲜有报道。【方法】选择中亚热带广泛分布的毛竹人工林为研究对象,开展不同强度间伐(25%间伐、50%间伐)和林下植被剔除对毛竹鞭根和篼根N、P养分含量及根际土壤理化特性的影响研究。【结果】林下植被剔除对毛竹根系养分含量无显著影响。25%间伐处理增加根际土壤P含量,加强篼根根际效应,促进根系对根际土壤N、P的吸收,显著增加篼根全N含量和鞭根全P含量(P<0.01),有利于促进毛竹根系的生长,提高毛竹生产力。50%间伐显著增加篼根N含量,但对篼根P含量、鞭根N、P含量均无显著影响。【结论】从长远来看,随着植物对土壤P需求的增加,土壤P输入的持续减少可能加剧毛竹人工林土壤P的限制作用,不利于毛竹林生产力的提高。此外,本研究结果表明,毛竹篼根和鞭根养分含量对间伐处理的响应差异明显,可能与毛竹篼根和鞭根的功能差异性有关,然而目前缺乏相关的研究,在今后的研究中有待补充加强。
[Objective]Thinning and understory removal are common management practices for forest sustainable developing.However,the effects of thinning and understory removal on roots of Phyllostachys edulis nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)contents have been rarely reported.[Method]In the present study,different thinning intensities(25% thinning,50% thinning)and understory removal had been applied in the middle subtropical Moso bamboo plantation,and the N and P contents of moso rhizome and base roots,as well as the physicochemical properties of rhizosphere soil were measured,hoping to reveal the underling ecological mechanism of Moso bamboo plantation productivity increased by forest management practices.[Result]The results showed that understory removal had no significant effects on nutrient contents of moso roots.25% thinning significantly increased base root N content and rhizome root P content due to the increased rhizosphere soil P content and rhizosphere effect,which would tend to promote moso root growth and Moso bamboo plantation productivity.On the contrast,50% thinning had no significant effect on moso root nutrient contents,except for increasing base root N content.[Conclusion]Nevertheless,it could speculate that 50% thinning would strengthen soil P limit for Moso bamboo plantation as the increasing plants demand in the near future,and 50% thinning is not conducive to promoting the productivity of Moso bamboo plantation.In addition,our results also showed that a distinct difference between moso rhizome and base roots nutrient contents in response to thinning treatments,which would be due to the functional differences between rhizome and base roots,and need future greatly attentions.
