摘要
“学科自信”是与费孝通先生提出的“文化自觉”和郑杭生先生提出的“理论自觉”思致相因的概念。中国社会学的“学科自信”具有五方面的含义,即学科起源、学科历史、学科性质、学科道路和学科使命。在学科起源上,中国社会学自己的“元典”是荀子群学;在学科历史上,中国社会学有着自战国末期以来独立的绵延不断的学科史;在学科性质上,中国社会学是坚持科学性与人文性相融合的学科;在学科道路上,中国社会学史不应被看作西方社会学在中国的传播和应用史,中国社会学的学科发展应该走古今贯通、中西会通的综合创新之路;在学科使命上,中国社会学应是承担回答21世纪创造“人类道义新秩序”历史使命的社会学。中国社会学“学科自信”五个方面含义的实质不仅是认知问题也是心态问题,不仅是心态问题更是现实的任务,归结起来就是建设什么样的中国社会学、怎样建设中国社会学的问题。
“Disciplinary confidence”is a concept of thinking with“cultural consciousness”put forward by Fei Xiaotong and“theoretical consciousness”put forward by Zheng Hangsheng.The disciplinary confidence in Chinese sociology has five meanings:the origin and history of the discipline,the nature and path of the discipline,and the mission of the discipline.Specifically,in terms of the origin of the discipline,Xunzi Qunxue is the primary version of Chinese sociology.In the history of disciplines,Chinese sociology has an independent and continuous history of disciplines since the end of the Warring States Period.In terms of the nature of the disciplines,Chinese sociology should be a discipline that adheres to the unity of science and humanity.On the path of disciplines,the history of Chinese sociology is definitely not the history of the spread and application of Western sociology in China.The development of our discipline should follow the path of integrated innovation from ancient to modern,and the integration of China and the West.In terms of academic mission,Chinese sociology should be a sociology capable of answering major issues in the 21st century and beyond,and participating equally in creating a“new order of human morality”.The essence of the meaning of the five aspects of“disciplinary confidence”in Chinese sociology is not only a cognitive issue but also an attitude issue,and a realistic task.It comes down to the question of what kind of Chinese sociology to build and how to build it.
