MTI教师的职业发展现状与需求探究 被引量:6

摘要 翻译硕士专业学位(MTI)教育自开办以来发展迅猛,同时亦显露出诸多亟待解决的问题,其中的核心问题之一是师资问题。本研究通过调查问卷探究了103名MTI教师的职业发展现状、影响职业发展的因素以及发展需求。研究结果表明,教学、翻译实践和科研构成了MTI教师"三位一体"的职业生活模式和能力框架,同时也给教师带来了职业发展压力,并导致其时间和精力冲突。教师对学科定位的认识、教师的专业能力以及现行的教师评价体制是影响MTI教师职业发展的主要因素,其职业发展需求包括提升翻译实践能力、改革教师的职称评价机制、进修和学习等。本研究希望通过对MTI教师需求的初步探索为未来MTI教师职业发展和MTI教育带来一定的启示。 Since the establishment of the program of Master of Translation and Interpreting(MTI) in 2007, the new postgraduate course in Chinese universities has been rapidly developing. Beneath the dramatic development, there emerge several problems, one of which is the development of MTI teachers. Based on a qualitative survey about the current situation of MTI teachers’ professional development, the factors influencing their development and development needs, this study finds that teaching, translation/interpretation practice and research constitute "three-in-one" pattern of MTI teachers’ professional development as well as their competence framework. However, this pattern brings MTI teachers more pressure and causes conflicts in time and energy. MTI teachers’ knowledge about the objectives of the program, the level of their professional competence and the evaluation system of teachers all influence MTI teachers’ professional development. MTI teachers have strong needs for more opportunities of practice, professional training and the innovation of promotion system. It is hoped that this study could bring some implications for the future development of MTI teachers and the MTI education.
