摘要
针对传统DVFS系统的电压切换时间长带来的电路能耗和性能损失问题,提出一种基于电压轨快速切换的DVFS技术。首先分析切换电压轨时的电压噪声问题,设计可以把负载电路在两个电压轨之间稳定快速切换的控制电路,并提出结合电压轨切换和DC-DC调节两种手段的DVFS调节策略。仿真结果表明,所设计的DVFS控制器电路,缩短电压切换时间,降低负载电路在调节期间的能耗-延时积,平均降幅达到29.74%。
Aiming at the problems of circuit energy consumption and performance loss caused by long voltage switching time of traditional DVFS system,a DVFS technology based on fast switching of voltage rails was proposed.This article analyzes the voltage noise problem when switching the voltage rails,designs a control circuit that can stably and quickly switch the load circuit between the two voltage rails,and proposes a DVFS adjustment that combines two methods of voltage rail switching and DC-DC regulation Strategy.The simulation results show that the DVFS controller circuit designed shortens the voltage switching time and reduces the energy-delay product of the load circuit during the adjustment,with an average reduction of 29.74%.
