摘要
现代汉语身份的确立离不开近代翻译对其语言身份的塑造,这与近代翻译活动和西方文化输入密切相关。采用描写性研究法,梳理近代翻译的四个阶段,从身份之再塑和身份之再造两方面,运用例证法深入探讨近代翻译对现代汉语身份塑造的具体表现,以揭示其表象生成背后强有力的翻译文化动因。近代翻译对现代汉语身份的构建发挥了重要作用,该作用的发挥也受制于语言自身的内部规律,遵循于语言发展观。语言要保持时代性和民族性必要的张力,才能永葆旺盛的生命力。
The establishment of modern Chinese identity can not be separated from the construction of its linguistic identity in modern translation,which is closely related to modern translation activities and western cultural input.This paper adopts a descriptive approach reviewing the four stages of modern translation,illustrates with examples the specific manners of modern translation in terms of the construction of modern Chinese identity and points out that translation cultural motivation of that time contributes a lot to the representation generation.Modern translation has played a significant role in the reconstruction of modern Chinese identity which is yet constrained by the internal laws of language itself and follows the development view of language.Only by maintaining the necessary tension between era and national characteristics can language maintain its sound vitality forever.
