"路灯"是菲律宾的一个慈善机构,它为"海堤"这一非正式住区内的家庭提供帮助,致力于让他们的孩子不再流浪街头并入校就读。2010年,3名挪威建筑专业的学生与该组织建立了合作关系,设计并建造了一个学习中心,为孩子们提供良好的学习环境,并为他们提供一个吃早、午餐的地方——此前孩子们常常无处就餐。该项目从概念到建设再到学习中心的使用、运行和维护,都与家长合作,设法解决了这些家庭面临的重要基本问题,并对社区居民产生了远超预期的深远影响。
Streetlight is a charity in the Philippines,which supports families within the informal settlement of"Seawall"to help get their children off the street and into school.In 2010,three Norwegian architecture students initiated a partnership with the organisation to design and build a study centre that would provide a supportive environment for the kids to study,and a place for them to have breakfast and lunch,which they would often go without.Working with the parents,from concept to construction through to the use,running and maintenance of the study centre,the project managed to address important underlying issues that the families were facing and have a far-reaching impact on the community beyond the original client scope.
