Objective To investigate the effect of two surgical procedures on the short-term and long-term effects of primary small liver cancer patients. Methods Eighty-five patients with primary small hepatocellular carcinoma admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to March 2014 were enrolled in the study.According to different surgical methods,50 patients underwent surgical resection and 35 patients underwent radiofrequency ablation. The patient's operation time and hospital stay, liver function related indicators, complications and recurrence rate before and 1 month after surgery. Results The operation time and length of hospital stay in the surgical resection group were significantly longer than those in the radiofrequency ablation group(P<0.05).After surgery, the degree of reduction in the surgical resection group was less than that in the radiofrequency ablation group(P<0.05);surgical resection The incidence of postoperative complications was significantly higher in the group than in the radiofrequency ablation group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the survival rate and recurrence rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The two procedures were primary. The short-term survival rate and recurrence rate of small liver cancer patients have little difference, but the incidence of percutaneous radiofrequency ablation is lower, and the liver function is better, which is better than the overall effect of laparoscopic liver resection.
