Objective To investigate the current status and relationship of clinical teaching behaviors(CTB)and transition shock(TS),and analyse the impact of teaching behavior on TS.Methods From December 2018 to July 2019,749 new nurses from 8 tertiary hospitals in Lanzhou were selected as the research objects by convenience sampling method. The general information questionnaire, the transition shock of newly graded nurses scale and the clinical teaching behavior inventory were used for investigation. Results The total score of new nurses’TS was(90.91±20.89),the total score of CTB was(89.31±15.82).There was a negative correlation between CTB and the TS of new nurses(r=-0.272 to-0.085,P<0.05).The time of entry,CTB,whether to understand the standardized training of new nurses, hospital level and educational background were the influencing factors of the impact of new nurses’TS.Conclusions The TS of new nurses is high, and the assessment of CTB is not good.Hospital nurse managers should pay close attention to improve clinical teacher’s CTB,so as to reduce the impact of new nurses’TS.
