摘要
全球年代地层单位界线层型剖面和点位(GSSP,俗称“金钉子”)是确定和识别全球两个时代地层之间界线的唯一标志,具有重要的科研价值和科普意义。大藤峡水利枢纽建成后,广西来宾蓬莱滩南岸二叠系乐平统底界全球界线层型(“蓬莱滩金钉子”)剖面将被长期淹没。为保护这一世界性地质遗迹,综合大藤峡水库调度运行特性、“金钉子”地质条件、河道行洪影响等因素,确定了“辅助剖面+切割保护”防护方案。
Global Boundary Stratotype Section and Point(GSSP),as the only sign to define and identify the boundary of two epochal strata,has great value and meaning for scientific research.After the completion of the Datengxia Dam,the Global Boundary Stratotype of bottom boundary of Leping series,Permian period located in the south bank of Penglai Beach in Laibin of Guangxi shall be inundated forever.In order to protect this geological heritage of world significance,a plan of employing"auxiliary section+cutting for protection"is made based overall consideration of operation features of Datengxia Reservoir and other factors of geological conditions and flood discharging in river courses.
