摘要
《通商约章类纂》是1886年编纂而成的晚清约章成案集。该书的编纂过程颇费周折,在流传过程中又出现了不同的版本和书名,编纂者也有不同的说法。考诸史实,该书的编纂和刊印是多人合作努力的结果。1886年以后出现的多个版本都来自天津官书局版的《通商约章类纂》。该书在体例和内容上体现了自身的特点。它不仅有助于晚清时期办理外交,而且对晚清、民国时期编纂约章集和学术研究都产生了重要影响。
Classification Compilation of Commercial Treaties and Regulations(Tongshang Yuezhang Leizuan,《通商约章类纂》)is a compilation of treaties,regulations and precedents in the late Qing dynasty,which was published in1886.The compilation process of this book was rather difficult.In the course of circulation,there emerged different editions and titles of this book,even its compilers were different.Examining on the historical facts,it is found that the compilation and publishment of this book was the outcome of several persons’ cooperative work.All the different editions originated fromClassification Compilation of Commercial Treaties and Regulations(Tongshang Yuezhang Leizuan,《通商约章类纂》)which was published by Tianjin Official Publishing House in 1886.This book has its own characteristics in style and content.It was not only useful for the diplomacy of the late Qing dynasty,but also had important influences on the compilation and research of treaties and regulations in the period of the late Qing dynasty and the Republic of China.
