摘要
复杂网络的相关探索近年来飞速发展,围绕复杂网络的动力学密切联系着物理、生物、电子工程甚至是经济学等众多不同学科中大量不同的现象,其中一些共性行为如同步、相干振荡、传播扩散等集体涌现是交叉研究的热点.一种被称为奇异态(Chimera State)的行为近十年来引起业界的广泛兴趣,它刻画复杂系统虽由相同单元组成,但单元会处于多种完全不同的相干与非相干态在空间的共存行为.本文简要介绍了有关奇异态研究的现象与理论,讨论了基于Kuramoto平均场自洽理论与Ott-Antonson序参量动力学理论的统计和宏观描述,集中讨论了在复杂网络上的奇异态及其稳定性,并对近年来相关的奇异态斑图研究和实验应用等进行了简述.
There have been great progresses in recent decades on studies of complex networks. Dynamical processes on complex networks are closely related to numerous phenomena in physics, biology, engineering and even economics, where some common behaviors such as synchronization and collective propagations and diffusions have received persisting interest for interdisciplinary studies. The so-called chimera state, which describes a typical type of spatiotemporal pattern, has been extensively studied in the past ten years. The chimera states demonstrate striking inhomogeneous spatiotemporal patterns emerging in homogeneous systems through unexpected spontaneous symmetry breaking, where the consequent spatiotemporal patterns are composed of both coherence and incoherence domains, respectively characterized by the synchronized and desynchronized motions of oscillators. In this paper, we briefly give an introduction to the phenomena and theories related to studies of chimera states, and discuss the statistical and macroscopic description in terms of Kuramoto self-consistency theory and the Ott-Antonson ansatz. We focus on the emergence of chimera states on complex networks and their robustness. Recent studies on applications and experiments are also discussed.
