路遥小说中的关键词是“交叉地带”,路遥设定的“交叉地带”指的是陕北镇、县、地区级的中小城市和环绕这些城镇的农村。在这条特殊地带生存的人们有着自己的生存苦难、困惑与理性,苦难是来自生活与精神,困惑源于理性与情感的平衡,而理性是如何在城与乡之间做出选择。这都是路遥所赋予他们的,是路遥在描写乡土小说所秉持的观念。
The key word in Lu Yao's novels is"intersection zone",which refers to the small and medium-sized cities at the town,county and district levels in northern Shaanxi Province and the countryside surrounding these towns.People living in this special area have their own survival suffering,confusion and rationality;suffering comes from life and spirit,confusion comes from the balance of rationality and emotion,and rationality comes from making choices between cities and villages.This is what Lu Yao has entrusted to them,which is his idea of creating local novels.
