Objective:To develop Scoring Medical Adhesive Related Dermatitis(SMARD)and verify its validity and reliability,to provide a simple, fast, scientific and effective quantitative assessment tool for clinical assessment of the severity of medical adhesive related dermatitis(MARD).Methods:Based on literature review, panel discussions, experts consultation as well as reference to Three Item Severity(TIS)scores, the primary items were constructed, which was formed by Delphi experts consultation to formulate the draft scale. The draft scale was used to score the severity of MARD in 66 patients, and the reliability and validity of the scale were analyzed. Results:The constructed SMARD consisted of 7 items. The Cronbach′sαcoefficient of scale reliability was 0.742.Exploratory factor analysis proposed two common factors, with the cumulative contribution rate of 59.60%,rotated factor loading of each item was more than 0.4.The content validity analysis indicated that the correlation was statistically significant between the scores of each item and the total score of the scale(P<0.05).Conclusion:The constructed SMARD has good reliability and validity, which can provide effective tool for the scientific and effective evaluation of MARD in the future.
