摘要
人才是科研的主体,人才培养质量对科技发展有直接影响。杨振宁、钱学森等著名科学家早已指出,中国的高等教育未能很好地履行培养创新型人才的任务。玻恩学派为20世纪物理学的发展做出了重大贡献,也培养出了一批批优秀的科学人才;彭桓武深受玻恩影响,贯彻玻恩学派的精神成为新中国科技发展史上不可或缺的人物,是中国物理界一代宗师。玻恩和彭桓武培育创新人才的故事细节说明,他们的成功并无什么秘诀:做教授就全心全意思考如何做称职的教授;做科学研究就全力以赴以做出最好的研究成果为目标。与他们的实践相比,我们的教育最欠缺的是严谨、规范的学术风气和实干精神。专业水准欠缺可以修习弥补,条件不足可以改进提升,而规范的学术风气和实干精神的缺失则足以毁掉一切。
Talents are the main body of scientific research,so the quality of talents training has a direct impact on the development of science and technology.The Born school have made significant contributions to the development of physics in the 20th century,and also cultivated a group of outstanding scientific talents.These stories have shown the secrets to their successes that a professor should do his best to be a competent professor and a scientific researcher should go all out to make the best research works.Compared with their practices,what we lack in education is the true academic atmosphere and hard work spirit.We can enhance the imperfect professional standards and insufficient conditions,but we can do nothing without standard academic atmosphere and practical spirit.
