Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing mode on foot nursing knowledge and self-management ability of patients with high-risk diabetic foot. Methods A total of 58 patients at high risk of diabetic foot admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to January 2019 were randomly selected for clinical study. They were randomly divided into two groups according to the time sequence of admission.Patients in the planning group received continuous care, and patients in the conventional group received general care. The nursing effect of patients in the two groups was compared. Results The scores of patients’ foot nursing knowledge and self-management ability in the planning group were higher than those in the conventional group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction score of patients in the planning group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of diabetic foot in the planning group was lower than that in the conventional group, with significant difference between groups(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of continuous nursing in patients with high risk of diabetic foot can effectively improve their foot nursing knowledge and selfmanagement ability, which has clinical application value.
