综合院校开设《远离传染病》通识课效果分析 被引量:2

摘要 目的探讨综合性大学面向非医学专业开设《远离传染病》公共选修课对提高大学生相关知识的可行性及有效性。方法分别对2018年中山大学珠海校区选修了《远离传染病》课程的50位非医学专业学生与50名未选课的学生采用自行设计的《传染病学相关知识调查问卷》进行匿名调查,调查问卷包括了常见传染病的分类、疾病特点、传播途径、预防措施等。结果选课组与未选课组对于传染性疾病知识的正确率明显不同,组间差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论通过综合大学面向非医学专业大学生《远离传染病》公共选修课程的建设,有效地提高了学生们对于传染病相关知识的了解,向大学生们灌输了更全面、更系统、更正确的传染病相关教育,是一种有效地提升整个大学生相关医学素养的好方法,也是一种让当代大学生获得保护自己健康能力的好途径。 Objective This article aims to investigate the practicality and effectiveness of setting up‘intro to epidemiology’as an elective for comprehensive universities in order to improve non-medical students’general health knowledge.Methods An anonymous survey was conducted amongst n=100 current students in Zhongshan University Zhuhai campus.Within these 100 non-medical students,half of the participants(n=50)completed the elective of‘intro to epidemiology’while the rest did not.A self-designed‘General epidemiology questionnaire’was used to assess their understanding of the commonly seen infectious disease.The questionnaire assesses general knowledge of epidemiology,infectious diseases,transmission routes and prevention methodologies.Results The score difference between the two groups had passed the chi-squared test with a p-value lower than 0.05.Those who did the elective of‘Intro to epidemiology’have achieved significantly higher scores which support the hypothesis as they demonstrated a higher level of understanding to the related knowledge.Conclusion For a comprehensive university,setting up‘introduction to epidemiology’as an elective for non-medical students not only deepens their understanding of infectious diseases but also granting students a systematic understanding of epidemiology.In addition,it is proven to be an effective way for students to gain access to general health knowledge,as well as learning how to protect themselves against epidemics.
