摘要
通过挖掘和梳理金陵大学原始校史资料和耶鲁大学神学院图书馆藏亚洲基督教高等教育联合董事会档案,对1927-1941年金陵大学图书馆学系(组)的创办历程与成绩进行了重新考证,基本厘清了其发展脉络,尤其在课程设置、师资教学、毕业生名录等方面较以往研究有了较大突破。文章最后就史料利用略谈感触,并且提出了研究展望。
Through careful investigation and exploitation of some historical materials, such as early publications by the University of Nanking and the Archives of the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia reserved in Yale Divinity Library, this paper makes a critical survey of the history of library science education in the University of Nanking from 1927 to 1941, by making clear its curriculum, staff and graduates. Besides, it gives some suggestions on the extension, exploitation and review of historical materials, and points out some key issues for future research.
