Since the"successful development"of co-firing of sludge in the coal-fired power plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, the sewage sludge has been properly treated. Many power plants in other regions of China have started to follow the"successful"example of this development and apply the technique in their coal-fired boilers. This advanced"cooperative disposal"technique is considered to be costsaving, less land use, and more economic. It also helps the plant to ensure a higher compliance rate of emission standards and other relevant industrial policies. Especially in recent years, the massive application of this technique in power plants all the over the country, presents a trend of "a single Spark makes a great fire"However, this technique can generates the severe dilution discharge of, sludge incineration characteristic pollutants such as dioxins, which are seriously exceeded the pollution standard index, The discharge of these pollutants will raise long-term damage to the environment and cause negative effect to public health. After comprehensive analysis of the impact, this technique should not be allowed and banned by the.
