摘要
吴秋辉先生是清末民初山东著名学者,其短暂的一生涉猎广泛,在诗词、甲骨金文、文字音韵训诂、经学、史学等领域皆有建树,尤其以甲骨金文及经学研究见长。吴秋辉敏求好学,而生性桀骜,身处传统学术崩溃而现代学术未建的特殊时期,经历了传统经学研究方法到结合地下史料与传世文献相结合的转变,因此能在承袭传统学问的同时,对传统学术方法和结论以怀疑一切的眼光待之。他利用甲骨金文等考古材料,结合传世文献、方言方音和实物,形成了自己独特的研究风格,成为清末民初中国学术转型的一个重要代表。
Mr.Wu Qiuhui was a famous scholar in Shandong Province in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China.His short life had covered a wide range of subjects and made great achievements in poetry,oracle bone inscriptions,phonological exegesis,Confucian classics and historiography,especially in oracle bone inscriptions and Confucian classics.Wu Qiuhui was sensitive and eager to learn,born with a tyrannical and haughty temper.He was in a special period when the traditional academic collapsed and the modern academic was not built.He experienced the transformation from the traditional research methods of Confucian classics to the combination of underground historical materials with handed-down documents.Therefore,he could treat the traditional academic methods and conclusions with a sceptical eye while inheriting the traditional knowledge.Using archaeological materials such as oracle bones and bronze inscriptions,he formed his own unique research style by combining the handed-down literature,dialectal pronunciation and objects and became an important representative of China’s academic transformation in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China.
