摘要
《劝农》是汤显祖《牡丹亭》中耐人寻味的一折。它一方面“从来不是戏曲批评家以及《牡丹亭》爱好者的主要注意力所在”,另一方面却曾经被频繁搬演于戏曲舞台。汤显祖对古老的采诗观风形式进行了艺术化加工,运用到《劝农》中,增加了该戏的可观性和教育意义;又揭示了“与时偕行”的哲理,扩充了《牡丹亭》的视野与结构,整部传奇为之生色。
"Encouraging Farmers"is a chapter that stands out in The Peony Pavillion.On the one hand,it has never attracted much attention from critics and readers.On the other hand,it is popular on the stage.In"Encouraging Farmers",Tang Xianzu adopted the form of Chinese folk songs,not only increases the chapter's poetic beauty,but also reveals the philosophy of"going along with time"in The Peony Pavillion.
