摘要
移情理论的提出和当时的康德哲学、英国道德情感主义有很大的联系,在现代关怀伦理学下,移情又进入了伦理学领域,追求自我对陌生他者的同情和理解。在文学阅读中,读者为虚构人物的苦难而动情,却不能产生后继道德行为,伦理和虚构本身发生了冲突。笔者尝试以现象学为依据,对移情说的发生机制进行重新思考,探讨自我与文本移情何以产生伦理情感,并从C·巴特森的“同情-利他行为理论出发”,对移情产生伦理行动这一命题进行阐发。
This paper attempts to solve the paradox of fiction and narrative empathy in literary reading.The theory of empathy is closely related to Kant’s philosophy and British moral emotionalism.Contemporary ethics of care has brought empathy to the field of ethics to sympathize and understand strangers.In literary reading,even if readers are moved by the sufferings of fictional characters,moral behaviors are not consequently followed.Based on phenomenology,this paper rethinks the mechanism of empathy,and discusses how ethic and emotion are generated by the empathy of the self and texts.Moreover,this paper illustrates the proposition that empathy generates ethical actions based on C.Batson’s theory of“sympathetic and altruistic behavior”.
