摘要
在《荀子》的近代视界中,康有为、谭嗣同的《荀子》观最为接近。两个人对《荀子》的解读与对荀子的思想解读和态度评价一脉相承,受制于各自的荀子观、学术观和政治观。一方面,与同时代的其他近代思想家相比,康有为、谭嗣同对《荀子》的思想诠释和态度最为相似,无论对荀子的抨击还是聚焦《荀子》的政治思想都拉近了两个人之间的距离而与其他近代思想家渐行渐远;另一方面,康有为、谭嗣同对《荀子》的解读具有不容忽视的差异,这从宏观透视、主题归类和篇章取舍等各个方面展示出来。异同参半使康有为、谭嗣同的《荀子》观比较拥有了非同寻常的意义和价值,既有助于深刻把握两个人思想的异同,又有助于直观感受《荀子》在中国近代的历史命运。
In the modern vision of Xunzi, the view of Xunzi by KANG Youwei and TAN Sitong is the closest. Their interpretation of Xunzi is in the same line with their interpretation of Xunzi’s thought and evaluation of his attitude, which is subject to their respective views of Xunzi, academic and political. On the one hand, compared with other contemporary thinkers, KANG Youwei and TAN Sitong had the most similar interpretation and attitude to xunzi. Both the criticism of Xunzi and the focus on Xunzi’s political thought narrowed the distance between them and other modern thinkers. On the other hand, KANG Youwei and TAN Sitong’s interpretation of Xunzi can not be ignored, which shows from the macro perspective, theme classification and text selection and other aspects. The comparison of Xunzi by KANG Youwei and TAN Sitong is of great significance and value, which not only helps us to grasp the similarities and differences of their thoughts, but also helps us to feel the historical fate of Xunzi in modern China.
