摘要
现代文坛上,周作人最早把晚明文风与新文学运动联系起来,特别是对晚明公安派的"旗手"袁宏道揄扬有加,使之成为新文学运动中的热点。究其原因,一方面,袁宏道的主张比较地契合追求个性自由的知识分子的需要,另一方面,袁宏道的作品所表现出的"闲适"与"性灵"颇为符合颓废文人的情绪。鲁迅先生认为"闲适"不是袁宏道的全部,"性灵"也不是晚明小品的最主要标签,而是被"检选"的产物。周氏兄弟对立主张背后,是两个对立的阶级的两种对立立场,是对民族危亡的两种不同文化态度。
In modern literature, it is Zhou Zuoren who first uses the literary style of the late Ming dynasty in the New Literature Movement. Zhou Zuoren, in particular, appreciates Yuan Hongdao, the "standard bearer" of the "Gong An" Literary school in the late Ming Dynasty. On the one hand, Yuan Hongdao’s ideas meet the demand of the men of letters who pursue individual freedom;on the other hand, the "leisure" and "spirit" in Yuan Hongdao’s works are in line with the mood of dispirited literati. Lu Xun holds that "leisure" is not the whole of Yuan Hongdao’s works, and that "spirit" is not the main tag of the sketches of the late Ming dynasty, it is instead the product of "selection". Behind the contradictory viewpoints of the Zhou brothers are the two opposing positions of the two opposing classes, and the two different cultural attitudes towards the national peril.
