摘要
粤港澳大湾区社会文化上的一个重要特征是语言状况的复杂多样性:通行的语言包括三文多语,在语言分类和分布上存在分层性与交织性,与区域外的语言关系也较为复杂。从语言经济学视角分析,这一多样性一方面会带来一定的经济成本,从而影响大湾区内部的互联互通;另一方面又可以产生一定的经济效益,除语言产业的经济效益外,更包括语言带来的经济外向性和外贸效益。或者说,语言多样性在粤港澳大湾区既是语言障碍,又是语言资源和潜在的资本。因此,在大湾区发展过程中应重视语言多样性的影响,制定分层的语言战略:推广普通话以促进区域一体化;保留其他通用语言并发展相应的语言经济;同时适当利用其他语言的特殊性,促进对外经济社会文化交流。
A significant socio-cultural characteristic in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Marco Greater Bay Area is the complexity and diversity of language.There are three languages and several popular dialects at different levels,linguistically and socially,and intertwined,while the linguistic relation with other areas is also complicated.From the perspective of economics of language,such language variety could cause economic costs within the Greater Bay Area in the aspect of communication and cooperation on the one hand,and on the other hand it may generate a lot of benefits,including language industry,foreign trade and economic extroversion.So language variety is both a language obstacle and language resource and potential capital.In the development of the Greater Bay Area,this variety should help formulate a hierarchical language strategy,popularize Mandarin as a means of promoting regional integration and foreign trade,preserve other common languages,develop respective language industries,take economic advantage of other languages and promote the social,economic and cultural exchanges in this area.
