摘要
呈现了一款用于5G手机中宽频段多模态的8单元MIMO天线阵列。该天线可以工作在3.3GHz(3300~3400MHz),5GHz(4800~5000MHz),LTE频段42(3400~3600 MHz)、43(3600~3800 MHz)和46(5150~5925MHz)。天线单元的主要结构是由一个外围的环形枝节和一个内嵌在环内的单极子天线单元构成的。天线阵列的模型经过了加工和测试。在阻抗带宽达到最低的-6dB标准下,仿真和实测结果显示出天线阵列可几乎覆盖3.3~3.8GHz和4.5~6.1GHz的频段。天线的包络相关系数(ECC)远低于0.05,并且在工作频段的信道容量达到了36.5~40.4bps/Hz。基于其良好的性能体现,比如多频段操作,高隔离度和良好ECC,该MIMO天线设计在5G手机中有很好的应用场景。
A wideband multi-mode 8-element MIMO antenna array for 5G smartphones is presented.The antenna can operate in 3.3 GHz(3300?3400 MHz),5 GHz(4800?5000 MHz),long-term evolution(LTE)band 42(3400?3600 MHz),band 43(3600?3800 MHz),and band 46(5150?5925 MHz).The basic structure of the antenna element is consisted of an outer loop strip and an inner monopole antenna.A prototype of the antenna array had manufactured and measured.Simulated and measured results show that the minimum—6 dB impedance bandwidth of the proposed MIMO antenna array approximately covers 3.3?3.8 GHz and 4.5?6.1 GHz.The envelope correlation coefficient(ECC)is lower than 0.05,and the ergodic channel capacity is 36.5?40.4 bps/Hz in operation bands.Due to its good performances,namely,multi-band operation,high isolation,and good ECC,the proposed MIMO antenna design is promising for 5G smartphones.
