摘要
虽然国内许多高校都在进行线上线下混合外语教学,但是对教学实践的深入研究比较匮乏。本研究以519名非英语专业研究生为研究对象,开展为期15周线上线下相结合的学术英语混合教学实践。通过学生线上的学习数据、调查问卷和在线互动交流记录,对教学实践过程、学生的学习态度和学习效果进行分析。结果显示:(1)混合教学过程中教师需要不断调整和干预,发现并解决问题;(2)学生对于混合学习态度经历了一个从不适应到适应并主动接受的变化过程;(3)在线写作平台与课堂教学相结合,学生通过自主修改提升了写作质量。本研究的发现可为相关课程设计与教学实践提供参考。
Although many domestic universities are practicing blended teaching of a foreign language,in-depth research focusing on such teaching process is relatively inadequate.This article reports the results of a 15-week teaching practice of a blended academic English program conducted among 519 non-English major graduate students.Teaching process,students’learning attitude,and learning outcomes were analyzed based on the online learning data,survey results,and online message-exchange records.Results showed that(1)teachers’adaptation was always required to find and solve problems during the teaching practice.(2)Attitudes and behaviors of students were changed gradually,f rom resistance to acceptance,and then to active participation.(3)As online learning blended with classroom instruction provided students with more access to revision,there was an improvement in students’writing quality.The findings of this research may offer some reference for the design and practice of similar teaching programs.
