摘要
美国总统唐纳德〃特朗普是一位个性非常鲜明的领导者,他特立独行的行事作风已经引起国际社会的广泛关注,他与众不同的外交礼宾礼仪风格尤为突出,其中一些行为已经影响美国与相关国家的关系。领导人人格是政治行为不可或缺的一个变量,外交礼宾礼仪行为反映着领导人的人格特质,领导人的人格特点影响领导人的礼宾方式,由此对他上任至今在外交礼宾礼仪上的“反常”行为进行解读与分析。对现有学术研究以及对特朗普自传作品与言行举止的考察可以看出,“自恋偏执”与“利益导向”是特朗普最具特色的两大人格特质,对特朗普外交礼宾礼仪行为的特殊性如肢体语言的夸张性、沟通方式的直接性与对待礼宾规范的随意性产生了影响。
Donald Trump,the president of the United States,is a leader with very distinct personality.His unique style of behavior has attracted extensive attention of the international community.His distinctive style of diplomatic protocol and etiquette is particularly prominent.Some of his behaviors have affected the relationship between the United States and relevant countries.Based on the fact that the leader’s personality is an indispensable variable in political behavior,diplomatic protocol and etiquette reflect the leader’s personality traits which affect the leader’s protocol style.Therefore,the work aims to interpret and analyze Trump’s“abnormal”behavior in diplomatic protocol and etiquette since he took office.From the existing academic research and the investigation of Trump’s autobiographical works,words and deeds,it can be seen that“narcissistic paranoia”and“interest orientation”are Trump’s two most distinctive personality traits,which have an impact on Trump’s diplomatic protocol and etiquette behaviors,such as the exaggeration of body language,the directness of communication methods and the arbitrariness of protocol norms.
