Objective To analyze the effect of intramedullary nailing in patients with long bone fractures of the lower extremities. Methods From January 2014 to December 2018, we randomly selected patients who underwent long bone fracture treatment in our hospital. A total of 60 patients were enrolled in the study. The patients were randomly divided into two groups. The contaol group (n=30) was used in the steel plate fixed treatment, the patients in the probing group (n=30) were treated with interlocking intramedullary nailing. The fracture healing, fracture healing time and postoperative complications were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of treatment in the analysis group was 96.67%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group(83.33%). The clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically significant (χ^2=11.273 4,P<0.05). The fracture healing time of the patients in the analysis group was (8.0±2.4) months, and the fracture healing time of the patients in the comparison group was(12.3±2.3) months. The difference of fracture healing time between the two groups was statistically significant(t=10.264 2, P=0.001 2). There were 4 patients with postoperative complications in the analysis group, the total incidence rate was 13.33%, which was significantly lower than the total incidence of complications in the comparison group(30.00%). There were 9 patients with complications after the operation in the comparison group. The difference in the overall incidence of the disease was statistically significant (χ^2=12.593 8, P=0.019 3). Conclusion The application of interlocking intramedullary nailing in patients with long bone fractures can promote the fracture and accelerate the recovery of lower limb function. It can significantly shorten the fracture healing time and improve the safety of treatment, and help relieve the discomfort of pain and bring it to the body and mind, which can provide convenience for normal life.
