摘要
在现有的GSM网络中增加一些节点即可构成通用分组无线业务(GPRS)网。GPRS具有高速传输、永远在线、按流量计费、语音数据自由切换、快速登录等特点,将移动互联网推入商用阶段。介绍了GPRS的网络结构、编码方式、传输速率、手机类型和计费特点;结合中国移动提供的套餐式服务,讨论了GPRS的应用前景。
Add some nodes to the existed GSM network will constitute GPRS network. GPRS features with high-speed transmission, always-on-line, billing by flow, automatic voice data switch, fast login, etc. It drives mobile Internet to enter commercial stage. Network structure, coding mode, transmission rate, handset model and billing features of GPRS are introduced in this paper. GPRS application foreground is discussed with combination of one-stop service provided by China Mobile.
