摘要
轴心时代理论自改革开放初期传入中国后,学界对此多持无条件接受的态度,并把其作为研究的理论前提,而对该理论与中国之互动研究较少。轴心时代理论有吸收中国思想的元素,中国思想界也有类似轴心时代的表述。轴心时代概念在中译过程中有争议,其理论在中国的适用性也需要加以界定。过于强调轴心时代思想文化的奠基性,容易使中国思想文化研究忽视前轴心时代的价值,甚至可能影响中国文化创新的积极性。
Since the introduction of the theory of Axial Age to China at the beginning of the reform and opening-up, many Chinese scholars have taken it uncritically and based their studies on it. However, few studies have been done on the interaction between the theory and China. The theory of Axial Age absorbs some elements of Chinese thoughts, and such terms as Axial Age were also once coined in the Chinese academia. The Chinese translated versions of Axial Age remain controversy, and the application of this theory is still to be specified in China. Overemphasizing the fundamentality of the thoughts and culture of the Axial Age will result in the neglect of the value of pre-Axial Age, and even hinder our cultural innovation.
