摘要
萧红、梅娘、张爱玲、丁玲是现代中国文学史上的四位“新女性”,她们在五四新文化的浪潮下成长,但却怀抱着不同的观念,选择了不同的道路。她们个人的不同遭遇与作品的不同风貌,反应了五四新文化在发展演变中,显现出的不同现代性在现代中国竞争的不同面貌及其结局。“新女性”的遭遇与形象在1940年代文学作品中的演变,成为我们观察多元现代性如何互动的一个指标。对于四位“新女性”的遭遇与作品的不同风貌进行对比性的阐释,并非为了证明预设的“多元现代性”的存在,在社会的历史变动中认识五四新文化运动在历史演变中带来的“不同现代性进路”的竞争场景,并对其具体进程展开探讨。
Xiao Hong, Eileen Chang, Mei Niang and Ding Ling are four "new women" in modern China. They grew up within the trend of the May 4 th New Culture, yet embraced different ideas and chose diversified roads. Their differing experiences and the multiple facades of their literary works show the various paths of the plural modernities competing with each other and their varying destinies in modern China. Therefore, the study of the development of the images of "new women" under the pen of these "new women" writers in 1940 s China becomes the way to explore the interaction between political modernities and literary modertinies.
