摘要
国家形象是国内外民众对一国的总体认知与评价,是自塑与他塑双重路径角力的结果。在中国国家形象建构过程中,西方话语长期占主导地位,其丑化中国形象的行为从未间断。为扭转这一局面,以习近平为代表的党和国家领导人非常重视对外宣传工作,并利用海外出访时机在当地主流媒体发表署名文章。这些文章话语内容丰富、传播渠道直接、话语主题鲜明,采用了融通中外的话语策略,为塑造一个真实、立体、全面的国家形象构建了中国对外话语传播模式,助力了中国国家海外形象的提升。在多元文化共存共荣的时代语境中,应当加强对外话语体系建设,探索对外话语传播路径,以提高我国在国家形象建构中的自塑能力。
National image is a holistic perception and evaluation of a country on the part of people both at home and abroad. It is constructed under the wrestling between itself and others. In the process of constructing China′s national image, the western world has always been speaking louder than China, which damages the image of China overseas. To redress this situation, leaders of the Party and the State represented by Xi Jinping place high value on foreign publicity and publish signed articles on the local media on their visits overseas. These articles are diverse in content, uninterrupted in publication and clear in theme while adopting a readership-oriented discourse strategy. All of these make for a kind of special outward discourse communication model which projects the image of an authentic and all-dimensional China, which helps improve China′s national image abroad. In the new era when different cultures coexist and develop, we should establish a more effective outward discourse system and explore more pathways for this system to communicate with the outside world in an effort to enhance China′s ability to construct its image.
