摘要
通过对儒家圣贤祠庙中柏树相关的文献资料与现场研究,发现孟庙中的古柏既是一种文化符号又是一种景观元素。柏树作为儒家文化的一种比德符号,隐喻着君子的坚心劲节、儒学的文化传承、道德生命的永恒,具有强烈的教化意义。柏树作为儒家圣贤祠庙的一种空间元素,与建筑共同形成一种肃穆的祠庙空间氛围。
Through the study of historical data and on-site researching,it is found that ancient cypress is,the ancient cypress of Confucian memorial temple is not only a landscape space element,but also a landscape cultural symbol.As a symbol of Confucian ethics,the cypress symbolizes the gentleman’s perseverance,the eternity of moral life,and the cultural inheritance of Confucianism,thus implying intense enlightenment significance.As a landscape space element of Confucian Temple of sages,ancient cypresses form a solemn space atmosphere with architecture.
