摘要
在理论阐述智慧城市建设对地区制造业升级作用机理的基础上,运用2007-2016年中国221个地级市的面板数据,采用双重差分方法实证检验了智慧城市建设对制造业升级的影响以及影响的机制与效应。研究发现:智慧城市建设显著促进了地区制造业升级,其中对中西部欠发达地区制造业升级的促进作用明显高于东部发达地区。进一步的机制检验表明,智慧城市建设会通过技术创新效应和资源配置效应对地区制造业升级产生积极影响。
This paper analyzes the reason why sm art city constructioncan affect regional m anufacturing upgrading in theory.It then uses the panel data of 221 cities from 2007 to 2016 in China and the difference-in-difference method,and empirical tests the impact of smart city construction on manufacturing upgrading,an d the influence m echanism and effect.The results show that,smart city construction can significantly promote regional manufacturing upgrading,and such impacts are particularly higher for the central and western less developed cities than that of the eastern developed cities.Further tests on mechanisms show that,smart city construction will have a positive impact on regional m anufacturing upgrading through technological innovation effect and resource allocation effect.
