摘要
梁启超的小说观极具创新性,既在中国儒家诗教传统中显现出一脉相承的恢宏气象,又在欧风美雨洗礼下呈现出批判性质的现代精神.他认为应把小说从边缘性文体中解放出来,成为文坛主流的文体.梁启超认为小说作为一种社会治疗方式,应开启民智,承担起新的社会责任和革命任务.虽然梁启超重视小说的社会功能维度,提倡政治小说的写作,但他并不否认小说的审美性和独立性.相反,他十分注重小说的美学趣味维度,认为小说不仅要为大众带来"乐趣",为大众所喜爱,更重要的是要为人带来超凡的美学享受.然而,不论是社会功能还是美学趣味的实现,都要经过心理机制的内化和转换,据此,他提出小说应具有"熏""浸""刺""提"四种心理功能.
Liang Qichao’s novel view is full of creativity. It shows not only the grand tradition of Chinese Confucian poetry, but also the modern spirit of criticism under the baptism of European wind and rain. He believed that novel should be liberated from marginal literary style, and become the mainstream new style in the literary world. In Liang Qichao’s view, novel should take on new social functions as a treatment, enlighten peo. ple, take on new social responsibility and revolutionary tasks. Although Liang Qichao attaches great importance to the dimension of social therapy in novel, advocating the writing of political novels, but he does not deny the aesthetic and independence of the novel. On the contrary, he pays great attention to the aesthetic dimension of the novel. He holds that novel should not only bring“pleasure”to the public, but also bring extraordinary aesthetic enjoyment to people. However, the realization of social function and aesthetic interest depends on the internalization and transformation of psychological mechanism. Accordingly, he proposed that the novel should have four psychological functions: Xun, Jin, Ci and Ti.
