摘要
盐业与中国社会经济发展密切相关,自贡盐业契约档案为研究我国农耕经济中的金融问题提供了宝贵的第一手资料。本文以自贡盐业开凿井契约为样本,再现了由地主、客人、承首人、作节、押头银所构建的以股权融资为典型特征的金融模式,深度剖析了各要素所扮演的金融角色及其作用关系。研究结果表明:(1)地主、客人、承首人、作节、押头银共同构建了自贡盐井开凿特殊的金融模式。这种模式解决了盐井开凿资金的供求矛盾,推动了盐业经济的发展,证明了我国农耕经济中金融并未缺位。(2)地主和客人股份占比的变化趋势说明土地的重要性在下降,非土地资本的重要性在上升;承首人扮演了金融中介的角色;作节实现了资金接力;押头银兼具押金和租金双重角色。
The salt industry is closely related to China’s social and economic development. The Zigong Salt Industry Contract Archives provides valuable first-hand information for studying the financial problems in China’s farming economy. This paper takes the Zigong Salt Industry Drilling Contract as a sample, and reproduces the financial model with the equity financing as the typical feature built by the landlord, the guest, the chengshouren, the zuojie, and the yatouyin, and deeply analyzes the financial role played by each factor and the relationship between them. The research results show that:(1) The landlord, the guest, the chengshouren, the zuojie, and the yatouyin jointly constructed a special financial model for the Zigong salt well excavation. This model solved the contradiction between supply and demand of funds for salt wells excavation and promoted the development of the salt industry economy, which proves that there was no absent of finance in China’s farming economy.(2) The trend of the proportion of landlord and guest shares indicated that the importance of land was declining, and the importance of non-land capital was rising;the chengshouren played the role of financial intermediation;the zuo jie realized the capital relay;Yatouyin played a dual role of deposit and rent.
