摘要
祥瑞作为中国古代一种可以"佐证"君主统治"合法性"的工具,历代统治者均设有相应的机构进行管理,对祥瑞的处理也有专门的处理方式,明代也不例外。但在另一方面,明代统治者受儒家文化影响,多次下令禁止举行祥瑞庆贺活动。祥瑞在明世宗朝显现出短暂复苏的面貌,表现为:一是祥瑞现象众多;二是确立了完善的祥瑞运行机制;三是明世宗本人呈现出喜好祥瑞的形象。这既缘于儒家士大夫始终不愿意放弃"天人感应"这一祥瑞政治文化的理论依据,也得益于明世宗"神王二道,裁理天下"统治思想的直接推动。总体来看,祥瑞在学理层面无法获得儒家士大夫的支持以及过于依赖明世宗本人因素的生存状况,依旧无法改变祥瑞政治文化日渐消亡的总体趋势。
As a tool in ancient China,"Xiangrui" can "prove" the "legality" of the monarchy. All the rulers of the past dynasties had set up corresponding organizations to manage them, also had special ways to deal with "Xiangrui", and the Ming Dynasty was no exception. On the other hand, the rulers of the Ming Dynasty were influenced by the Confucian culture and repeatedly ordered the "Xiangrui" celebrations to be banned."Xiangrui" showed a brief recovery in the Ming Dynasty. The performances were as follow: First, there were many phenomena of "Xiangrui". Second, the perfect "Xiangrui" operation mechanism was established. Third, Emperor Shizong himself showed a liking for "Xiangrui" images. This is due to the fact that the Confucian scholars have always been reluctant to give up the theoretical basis of the "Xiangrui" political culture of "the interaction between Heaven and Man", and also benefited from the direct promotion of the rule of the Emperor Shizong "the God and the King, the rule of the world". On the whole,"Xiangrui" couldn’t get the support of Confucian scholars at the academic level and it relied too much on Emperor Shizong’s own factors. So it still could not change the overall trend of Xiangrui’s political culture dying out day by day.
