摘要
文章分析了中国知网期刊全文数据库中收录的1988-2018年间国内学者关于英语禁忌语的研究论文。作者发现,近三十年里,国内学者依托社会语言学、语用学、认知语言学、文化语言学等理论,围绕英语禁忌语的类别、特性、英汉差异、语用功能、演进等展开探讨。但是,研究同质化明显,陈旧性语料反复出现,创新严重不足,也缺少连续性。英语禁忌语受多重因素制约和影响而不断演进发展,因此,未来的研究应以动态分析为主,结合具体语境和更加真实的语料展开定量研究,依托社会心理学、心智哲学、话语伦理学、传播学视角去拓展和创新。
According to statistics of CNKI Database, the author makes a review of domestic study on English taboos from 1988 to 2018. The present studies are guided by theories of sociolinguistics, pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, and cultural linguistics, involving the classification, characteristics, differences between English and Chinese, pragmatic functions as well as evolution of English taboos. However, there are also some shortcomings. Since the same chosen research methods and repeated taboo examples, quite a few articles seem to have similarities. In other words, present study lacks innovation. Besides, there is also a lack of continuity. English taboos are constantly developing under the influence of multiple factors. Therefore, future study should mainly be dynamic and quantitative, based on specific context and more authentic cases. Theories of social psychology, philosophy of mind, discourse ethics, communication could also be adopted to expand studies with creativeness.
