摘要
中共中央为在南方有一个巩固的战略基地,配合全国各抗日战场对日反攻作战,以及为应付抗战胜利后国民党可能发动的内战做准备,派遣了以王震、王首道为负责人的南下支队从延安远赴湖南。南下支队试图建立湘粤赣根据地,但是遭到了国民党军队的疯狂阻挠和围攻,且该支队在湘北活动时间过长,兵力不足,孤军深入,而东江抗日纵队接应部队行动迟缓,没有及时抵达接应地点,导致该支队在湖南转战半年后最终北返。虽然八路军的南下支队没有直接实现最初的战略目标,但仍然起到了一些正面作用,主要是:积极恢复和发展各地党组织,建立抗日民主政权;宣传、发动、组织群众抗日;开展了卓有成效的统战工作;袭扰日军后方,牵制了部分日军力量,配合了正面战场的抗日斗争。
In order to have a consolidated strategic base in the south,cooperate with the various anti-Japanese battlefields in the country to fight back against the Japanese,and prepare for the possible civil war launched by the Kuomintang after the victory of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression,the central committee of the communist party of China dispatched the down-south detachment headed by Wang Zhen and Wang Shoudao from Yan an to Hunan. The down-south detachment tried to establish the base in Hunan,Guangdong and Jiangxi,but due to many reasons,it finally returned north after half a year’s fighting in Hunan. After the down-south detachment entered Hunan,it restored and developed the local party organization,established the anti - Japanese democratic political power,publicized,mobilized and organized the masses to resist Japan,and carried out the fruitful united front work to attack the Japanese rear,contain part of the Japanese forces,and cooperate with the front anti - Japanese struggle.
