摘要
九曜山造像位于浙江省杭州市西湖南山山区,为新发现的一处佛教摩崖窟龛,存石灰岩洞窟1所,像龛3个,造像凡11尊。1、2号造像龛年代为五代吴越国,3号龛年代为此后的北宋。洞北山崖存香严寺和永庆寺山地之间分界摩崖,洞内的石刻佛经残文是东南地区目前已知唯一的洞窟刻经。该遗存为研究东南地区佛教物质文化提供了新资料,对完善五代吴越国佛教造像的谱系亦颇有裨益。
Jiuyao Hill Buddhist sculptures is a newfound Buddhist sculpture cave and niche site located in the Nanshan (South Hill) area of the West Lake of Hangzhou City,Zhejiang Province.To date,one grotto and three figure niches including 11 statues in total carved out of limestone rock have been found.Of them,Niches 1 and 2 are opened in the reign of the Wuyue Kingdom during the Five-Dynasties Period,and Niche 3 is opened in the Northern Song Dynasty after that.On the cliff to the north of the grotto,inscription recording the border between Xiangyan and Yongqing Monasteries is preserved.The remaining Buddhist stone scriptures in the grotto are the only grotto stone scripture site in southeastern China known to date.The discovery of this Buddhist sculpture site provides new data for the study on the Buddhist material culture in southeastern China,and also helps to perfect the genealogy of the Buddhist sculptures of the Wuyue Kingdom in the Five-Dynasties Period.
