摘要
《基督徒之死》是日本近代文学代表作家芥川龙之介创作的基督教题材文学的代表作。战后知名文学评论家三好行雄认为与艺术相关的“刹那间的感铭”才是该篇的主题。事实上,《基督徒之死》反映的是天主教传入日本这一历史题材,聚焦于普通民众追求的“邻人之爱”的实践,再现了日本迫害禁教时代之前的“殉教”。基于历史题材文学理论,对该作进行重新解读,可以发现主人公罗连卓出乎所有人意料之外的唯美结局,正是在日本明治末年至大正时期“南蛮情趣”这一追求异国情调的社会文化语境下出现的浪漫氛围。
Christian Death is a representative work of Christian literature wri社en by modem Japanese literature author Ryuno suke Akutagawa.According to the famous literature critic Miyoshi Yukio,the art-related inspiration in a twinkling is the theme of the work.In fact,Christian Death uses the introduction of Christianity to Japan as its historical subject.The work focuses on ordinary people's pursuance of "neighborly-love",and reproduces what martyrdoms were like before the Persecution of Reli gion Era.The unexpected artistic ending of the main character Lorenzo reflects the romantic atmosphere pursued by the socio cultural context of "Nanban Culture" during the period from Meiji to Taisho.
