摘要
“挑南盐”是桂南、桂西乃至滇黔东南部地区重要的历史印记。近代北海口岸开放之后,由于钦廉沿海与桂、滇、黔等地经济贸易往来空前密切,“挑南盐”也随之兴盛起来。成千上万盐夫为养家糊口而涉险挑盐挑货,并为此付出了血汗代价。复杂的社会环境和挑盐特殊的工作使他们演变成复杂的群体,盐帮与沿路居民之间构成了相互斗争又相互依赖的复杂关系。“挑南盐”带动了盐道沿线圩镇商贸的繁荣,部分承载了区域和国际货物物流功能,也使农民生计发生一定改变。
“Salt-picking in Beibu Gulf” is an important historical imprint in southern Guangxi,western Guangxi and even southeastern Yunnan and Guizhou.After the opening of Beihai Port in modern times,because of the unprecedentedly close economic and trade exchanges between Qinliancoastal areas and regions such as Guangxi,Yunnan,Guizhou,“Salt-picking in Beibu Gulf”also flourished.Thousands of salt-pickingmen have paid the price of blood and sweat in order to support their families by picking salt and goods.The complex social environment and the special work of salt-picking have turned them into complex groups.Besides,salt gangs and residents along the road constitute a complex relationship between struggle and interdependence.“Salt-picking in Beibu Gulf”has promoted the prosperity of trade in towns along the salt road,partly played the role of regional and international cargo logistics,and also made certain changes to the livelihood of farmers.
