Effect of Nitrocellulose with Different Nitrogen Content on the Mechanical Properties of Gun Propellants

摘要 为获得硝化纤维素(NC)含氮量对发射药力学性能的影响规律,制备了NC含氮量分别为12.5%、12.8%和13.0%的3种均质发射药样品,并在此基础上加入RDX,制备了3种非均质发射药样品;采用简支梁摆锤冲击试验测试其抗冲击强度,采用落锤撞击试验结合密闭爆发器试验测试其撞击强度。结果表明,NC含氮量对发射药力学性能的影响与温度有关,非均质发射药在0℃条件下,NC含氮量为13.0%时,简支梁冲击强度和95cm落高下的破碎度分别为32.79kJ/m2和1.000;NC含氮量为12.50%时,简支梁冲击强度和95cm落高下破碎度分别为30.97kJ/m2和0.980。-40℃低温条件下,NC含氮量为13.0%时,简支梁冲击强度和95cm落高下的破碎度分别为7.12kJ/m2和2.798;NC含氮量为12.50%时,简支梁冲击强度和95cm落高下破碎度分别为9.27kJ/m2和1.101。表明随着NC含氮量增大,发射药的简支梁冲击强度和落锤撞击强度都明显降低。 In order to study the influence of nitrocellulose(NC) with various nitrogen content on the mechanical properties of gun propellants, three types of homogeneous gun propellants were prepared using NC with nitrogen content of 12.5%, 12.8% and 13.0% as continuous phase. Based on these basic formulations, another three kinds of heterogeneous gun propellants containing RDX were fabricated. Simply supported beam pendulum impact test was used to evaluate the impact strength and drop hammer impact test combined with closed-bomb test were adopted to evaluate the impact strength. The results show that the effect of nitrogen content of NC on the mechanical properties of the gun propellants is related to initial temperatures. For heterogeneous gun propellant at 0℃, the impact strength tested by simply supported beam test and the fragmentation at 95cm drop height of samples with NC nitrogen content of 13.0% are 32.79kJ/m 2 and 1.000, respectively, and for samples with nitrogen content of 12.50%, the test results were 30.97kJ/m 2 and 0.980. Under the lower temperature of -40℃, the impact strength and breaking degree were 7.12kJ/m 2, 2.798 with nitrogen content of 13.0%, and 9.27kJ/m 2, 1.101 with nitrogen content of 12.50%, showing that the impact strength of gun propellants tested by simply supported beam and drop hammer was significantly reduced with the increase of the nitrogen content of NC.
