Objective To evaluate the effect of flexible fasting(FF)technology on losing weight and improving chronic diseases based on the department of nutrition in the hospital.Method We recruited volunteers with the selection criteria of obesity and related chronic diseases. All the volunteers experienced 7 days of FF treatment under guidance of nutritionist. We tested and recorded the physical and chemical indicators of the volunteers during the FF operation. All the results were compared by self-control and conducted statistical analysis. The volunteer s physical indicators had been tracking during the period of FF operation.Result After the FF treatment, the volunteers weight, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, and blood lipids were significantly decreased, and theelectrolytes, liver and kidney functions were normal. The volunteer s physical indicators become better. Conclusion The FF approach has obvious effect on losing weight and improving physical indicators including blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipids, and the result of safety assessment are well. Therefore,FF technology might be developed as a manner for improving the chronic diseases indicators in obesity people with the potential to be the clinical expert consensus.
