Objective To investigate the effect of low frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on the patients with schizophrenia and the patients'cognitive function. Methods 62 patients with schizophrenia who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to June 2018 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the study group. The control group was treated with drugs. The study group was combined with low frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation.PANSS scores, cognitive function scores, and effectiveness were compared between the two groups. Results The PANSS scores after treatment in the study group were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).Cognitive function scores in the patients in the study group after treatment(including immediate memory, delayed memory, language function)were improved compared with those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the study group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion During the treatment of patients with schizophrenia, low frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation is ideal, and should be further promoted and applied clinically.
