摘要 What is the most favorite and original chemistry developed in your research group? Developments of alkali/alkaline earth amides, imides and hydrides for hydrogen storage and for catalytic ammonia synthesis are the most heart stirring scientific findings in our group. How do you get into this specific field? Could you please share some experiences with our readers? Accide ntal discovery and in tuition mean a lot to my academic career. It was an accidental observation that led me looking into hydrogen storage in Li3N;it was also an accidental finding that stimulated me to think of the potential of using hydrides as co-catalysts for ammonim synthesis and decomposition. Accidental discoveries, I believe, are the messages that the Nature conveys to us.
